Co-Chairperson of Cork ARC Cancer Support House, Professor Seamus O’Reilly, spoke to the European Parliament’s Special Committee on Beating Cancer for World Cancer Day 2021.
The lecture, entitled ‘Experiences on the ground: diagnosing and treating cancer through the COVID19 pandemic’ features Professor O’Reilly’s unique experience in dealing with pandemic conditions at Cork University Hospital.
While Professor O’Reilly shared his own experiences in Cork, the impact of Covid on Cancer Services is reflected in medicine and communities across the globe.
