We are still here for you. Please phone or email to find out how we can help you during these times.
Drop-In & Phone Support
We understand that it can be difficult to ask for help. At Cork ARC the drop-in centre is the focus of our cancer support service and is available free of charge to cancer patients and their families.
At Cork ARC Cancer Support House our friendly and professional nurse and volunteer team welcome you to our service and want you to feel at home and relaxed when you visit our centres in Cork city and Bantry, a contrast to the atmosphere of clinics and hospitals.
We will meet you when you drop-in and support you to explore the challenges cancer has brought to you. We will listen to you in confidence and work with you to find out how best we can support you. Cork ARC is here to support you every step of the way.
Once you knock on the door you will be met by one of our team. Calling to Cork ARC is just like calling into any home, the drop-in area is like a large sitting room – it’s designed to make you feel safe and at ease.
Our aim is to provide you with the best advice, practical and emotional support that will help make a difference to you and your family at this time.
We understand that using our drop-in service may not be an option for you. If you would like to find out how we can help you, we offer phone support.
Our trained and compassionate team will be on hand to take your call and answer any queries or worries you may have. They can also guide you through the supports available to you.
